Squeaking noise on 2003 Tacoma only when the Ac engages but then stops after a few seconds

    For some reason when i turn on my ac it makes a loud squeaking noise but then stops after a few seconds. Please help.

    1.5" wheel spacers, 2.5 front and 1" rear leveling kit, AFE Dry drop in filter, Thrush Glasspack Cherry Bomb exhaust, Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires Soon to be: bully aluminum side steps, plastidip emblems
    Check the ac pulleys. Bearings in them are likely shot and squeal on initial spin.

    Might be a good time to use belt dressing on all your belts and pulleys

    is the sound only at startup of the AC, or do you hear it when idling as well like at a drive thru up against the wall, it should be audible with the rotations of the belt... If its only at startup it may not be the actual pulley bearing. In which case, use some belt dressing, and check the pulley for play just in case.... Otherwise the actual AC pump may be having some end of life symptoms lol
