    I wouldnt open the motor for headgaskets till it needs it. Some go 80k sone go 300k... Dont try to fix what aint broke

    Does anyone know what the special little socket you need is for the top of the, I'm assuming, thermostat housing? It is a stud bolt with a star on top.

    Pretty sure that is for install of the stud itself, and the housing is held onto the stud with a nut.

    Anyways one Spectra Premium radiator is on its way to your house, should have it Friday. Will PM tracking. :D

    I’ve got these that you can use. As I mentioned before, not sure I can make it for the mod day but I will be in Scottsdale this weekend. I can drop these off if you need them.

    I've taken classes in just this kind of thing... too bad I never really paid attention. :rofl:

    Step 1: Hose everything down, blast gunk away as a first pass, use something like adams all purpose and a shitload of water

    Step 2: Jack and jack stands, raise the front of the vehicle just enough to get the front tires off the ground and get those off the truck.

    Step 3: get the radiator and shroud off, maybe even the grille if it makes access easier.

    Now comes the fun part, split into 3 groups, A, B, C:

    4: A starts timing belt and water pump job while B removes brakes and brake rotors, C takes break for food

    5: B takes break for food, A finishes up timing belt/water pump job with accessory belts and radiator re-install while C gets front shocks done with brakes out of the way

    6: A takes break for food, C moves to rear and does rear shocks, B puts new pads and rotors in

    That way groups can potentially fall behind without making too much chaos and everyone gets a food break...

    After that's all squared away, fill it up with coolant, start the truck, burp the lines, and so on. Once it is ready to rock and we know the timing is good, then we move on to the collective bullshitting and install of the ignition components part.

    Sound about like a plan?:)
