I’ve had my 03 for 13 months, bought it with 76,000 had a 2-1/2” lift and 33’s when I got it. Clutch has been acting up yesterday, replaced the slave cylinder today and still seem messed up. Meaning when I let the peddle back out it feels like it grabs to soon, about 2” from the floor. Any one had to do a clutch at 100,000?
Had an 02 years ago and did the clutch at 150,000. Any experts out there with two cents? Thanks

What about the master cylinder? It's also possible that the adjustment screw on the pedal itself is out of wack.

Depending on how hard it has been driven it is 100% possible that the clutch would need replacing at 100k miles, but the fact you say it grabs fine leaves me to believe it isn't the clutch itself, but rather one of the cylinders. Make sure you bleed it properly too, if there is any air in the line it will cause it to act up like that.

Thank you, I’m bleeding it again tomorrow, to be honest I drive like an old man. I took the inspection plate off as well, couldn’t see any chunks or anything which made me start with the cylinders.
I appreciate the two cents man.

I had the same thing happen to me a month ago and it was the Clutch Master Cylinder. Luckily it's an easy and inexpensive repair. Mine went 350,000 miles and 20 years.

So you went 355k before you had to swap the cylinders?!? That’s awesome, swapping the master tomorrow after work, really appreciate the info thanks!
