Whenever the steering wheel is fully turned to the left or right, there is an incredibly loud squealing noise that comes from the front end.

The noise doesn't occur when the wheel is just turning. It has to be cranked to one side. What's causing this noise?

Have you checked the tension on the PS belt? Is the belt cracked or frayed?

What is your fluid level, does it smell burnt?

On my Acura, that happened when steering fluid was low. I’d start there.

The tension feels tight. It was recently replaced and it still looks brand new.

The fluid was topped off last week but I will inspect it again.

Don’t top off the fluid, replace it. Fluid gets old, builds metal particles, etc. There’s a write-up somewhere on this forum (or YouTube) on how to replace the PS fluid.
