The time has come for me to sell my bed rack. Another TW member made me this rack about a year ago and it's been great; works as intended (can handle my kayaks - would not advise for RTT), sturdy even at highway speeds, and surprisingly light wind noise.

The finish is self-etching primer and Rustoleum High Performance Enamel (matte black). It's in pretty great shape, but it's always handy to have a can around for touch-ups.

My ultimate goal for this was to keep the rack long term, hang an underslung cargo basket from the top, and use the steel plate sides to sticker all of my road trip locations. I've decided to go a different route and will not be keeping the truck long term, either.

From the pictures you will notice that one of the mount welds broke and there are only 3 attachment points remaining. I would advise repairing this before any long distance journey, but I did roll with just 3 for a week or two - so it's transportable home, depending on your location. If I had one complaint about the rack, it would be the utility rail attachment points, so you may want to use this opportunity to re-design or bolster them.

I will include (8) Hondo Garage Utility Track T-Nuts and Bolts/Washers/Lock Washers for mounting (added $30 of value).

    Not included: folding kayak J-hook(s)

For reference: I paid $300 for the rack, ~$50 in paint/primer, and $30 for the t-nuts + bolts.

PM me if you're interested. Rack is located in Michigan (48197), will not ship.

Bump - reduced and willing to consider offers - new roommate moving in; need the garage space.
Still functional with 3 mounts; great deal for someone who can weld or has another idea for mounting (ie: mechanically fasten L brackets onto rails and rack)

Truck is gone, house is going up for sale.
It'd be pretty simple to use 3.5in x 3.5 in slotted L-brackets to replace (and/or improve) existing mounting points.

    Updated to $175.
