Cheaper and easier to paint it yourself. I just did mine yesterday.

No worries. You won’t find anything like I did online though.

Why, to me it makes the interior look cheaper that it already is. Not my style but it's not my truck. However I would wait it with something like dupli color and some clear, water sand it and clear it again. That should do the trick, but please don't put plastic crap on it.

What spray paint did you used? Is there any brands better than others?

Duplicolor or krylon seem to work the best

I had to use Rustoleum because their Satin Paprika has been tested and proven to be the best match to Inferno. And I have to say it is pretty damn close.

That is the other one, krylon is hard to get a match to truck color.

It took about 2 cans of duplicolor to do my dash trim pieces. With touch up paint it could get more expensive than the 14 to 21 bucks for 2 to 3 cans of the store bought brands.

Cost effectiveness. At 4.88 a can of Rustoleum plus another 3 to 4 dollars for a clear coat depending on what clear you go with, vs. 19.95 for a 12 oz can of automotivetouchup paint.

I used their quicksand paint to do the trim in my truck. See mine, and some others here.

I had a similar question. Didn't want anything painted. Even factory coated trim, for me, has always eventually chipped or faded off from cleaning over the years. I wanted all interior trim pieces to be the flat black. Below are the part numbers and names where you can order these pieces online in matte black. Install is pretty simple.

55474-04020-C1 Cluster Trim Trim, Matte Black (this is the trim that surrounds the duct vent on the left side of the odometer cluster).

55476-04010-C1 Center Panel Trim, Matte Black (this is the trim that surrounds the center ducts and radio/cd player).

58831-04010-C2 Garnish Console Upper, Matte Black (this is the trim that surrounds your shifter [automatic]).

74201-04030-C1 Switch Panel, Matte Black (this is the trim that surrounds the window lock switches [unsure if this is left or right]).

74202-04050-C1 Switch Panel, Matte Black (this is the trim that surrounds the window lock switches [unsure if this is left or right]).

Currently, I can't find part numbers for the silver trim behind the 4x4 control and AC controls. Also, can't find part number for two silver trim pieces on the steering wheel (kind of).

Sparks Parts online (very helpful folks) told me that these pieces of trim for the steering wheel corresponded to the following: Remote Control 84250-04080-C0 (List Price: $557.92; Sparks Parts Price: $392.44). They said that Toyota doesn't sell the trim panels without the electronic components included, and thus, the $400 price tag.

Additionally, Sparks Parts told me that they could not find the trim in matte black for the 4x4/ AC/ etc. control panel. That might not be the case, however, because I know that this panel comes in matte black with some packages....

Got the factory pieces in silver (since I knew they were painted), then had my nearest body shop shoot them in 040 base/clear. Took two days. Then sold the stock set.

I am wanting to replace the 2 plastic trim pieces around the window controls, but I am unsure if I have the gunmetal or silver trim. Can you please help?

I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport with the black interior and orange stitching.

I understand I can paint these, but I would rather buy from a Toyota parts place and be done with it.

    Thanks ahead of time!

I'm in the same boat. Used the part numbers sc0tt0musprime gave above and found all the trim pieces for the dash in matte black, but I can't find anywhere online that has these door trim pieces around the controls. 74201-04030-C1 and 74202-04030-C1 look like they are just the pieces that house the actual control switches and not replacements for the silver/gray trim.

58831-04010-C2 will replace the gray center console trim in your third picture, btw.

Best option I have found to replace the gray color of your climate controls is this.
