I’ll be a last minute commit. Some friends from home are visiting San Francisco so I may be linking up with them. Otherwise, I’m a go

I'll be dropping off some TW Express stuff and lending a hand for the morning. Decided not to bother with replacing the bumper this weekend, too much of a hassle when I know I'm just going to get a steel bumper later, anyway. Got to be in Prunedale in the afternoon, anyway.

I'd like to finally make one, but I'll still be packing and moving my stuff into storage. Takes a while when you only have thr weekends....

No worries brother. Maybe you can make Mod Day 10.0 on 8/10... That'll be the next one.

    Slow Mod Day today.

@Sharkfrog cured some trail rash on his sliders.
@essjay brought me a TW Expressed gas can carrier (thanks again) and did some minor maintenance bits.
@Blue Canary popped in to re-torque his UCAs and bull shit for a few minutes.

I washed my truck (ya, it's a shocker to me too) probably going to do some buffing on it after it cools down. And also started building some custom brackets for my awning.

Have you considered an engine swap for your taco? I can definitely see you doing the 2UZ-FE swap in yours

The 4.7 swap has crossed my mind a time or two. But, for this truck, I'm fine with my 5vz-fe. I'm in talks about (and will be doing) a supercharger. Beyond that I think the most I would go is swapping in a fresh 5vz-fe rebuilt with LC Engineering (domed, higher compression, overbored) pistons, cylider heads etc.

Yeah I agree. I think it's also more practical in the long run! A fresh rebuilt engine would be more than good enough as well!

Still, a v8 on these little trucks would be so fun :benchpress:
