I am an iPhone user and thought the stereo was Car Play and apparently it is not. I was sent a link from a friend nvconnect.co.kr Due to it all being in Chinese and something like $600 I was wondering if there was a different approach. Also, does Toyota make a replacement stereo that fits and works I wonder what those cost??

I would go with a Kenwood wireless CarPlay/Android Auto unit(they just released them). $650'ish for the starting level unit. You will need steering wheel maestro and dash kit. Price it out online at the big .com stereo place.
