They’re for an AC, they should fit my DCSB right? Just noticed that

Me and Joey just went through this last week. They will fit. But I would still check Mobtown also.

I really enjoyed the story behind this one, primarily because it’s very similar to how I got my own taco. My parents a while back, probably around 2008 or so bought our truck as the family vehicle but my dad ended up being pretty rough with it and eventually it died on him. When I was around 14 or 15 I really began to take interest in getting it moving again and started saving money from summer jobs to try. Ultimately with some help from my old man, a new rear diff, control arm, and fuel pump, she’s back on the road again running strong and looking pretty snazzy too. I’m 17 now and I just love my truck, battle scars and all. Nowadays I spend a lot of time tracking down little issues she has but I wouldn’t trade her for anything, the elbow grease that went into reviving her makes her special to me.

Great to hear someone with a shared experience! I feel the same way, working on my truck and fixing it myself makes me love it even more, regardless of the cosmetic damage.

Took the same approach to buying my truck - Flipped cars for money then bought mine for cash. Started Sophomore year of college with it stock and going into senior year not so stock. Have fun building it out, and your long travel dreams will happen!

Your truck is badass! I’m installing a snorkel this weekend, but after that mods will be on hold for a bit since I’m going to college. Don’t plan on dumping money into it like I have been. I’ll hopefully be getting a new car in the near future, but I’m never gonna sell the truck.

hey man, love the truck. I'm trying to mount a similar light bar to my prinsu rack. Any tips on the install? I see you said it was difficult. Did you use the brackets that came with your light bar or ones from prinsu? Did you mount it to the same crossbar that the wind deflector mounts to?

I used the mounts from Caliraised! They bolt right up to the crossbar on the wind deflector. Install the lightbar onto the deflector with the deflector off the rack, and then tighten the bolts on the light bar and line it up as best you can. Once the deflector and light bar are back on the rack, it’s nearly impossible to tighten the bolts, so it’s best to do so before then. Let me know if you have any other questions!
