I'll exceed 36k miles some time this week. Feeling like I should pull her into the garage and give her an extra solid once over before that happens. I'll def revisit the potential timing cover oil leak they were unable to detect.
What else crosses your minds, oh wise TacomaWorld inhabitants?

A timing cover oil leak would be covered by your Powertrain Warranty.
The Powertrain warranty is 60 months / 60,000 miles.
That gives you plenty of time!!!!!!!!!!

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
See my recent thread about seized LCA bushings. A known issue on the second gens and just now starting to show up on our third gens. If you’re able to remove everything, slab it up with anti seize and you’re good (you will need an alignment). If not, get them fixed while the warranty is still good.

In the past when running up against a warranty expiration, I made a list of what I wanted checked, took it to the dealer and got an estimate on what they would charge to check everything. Usually, it was like $200-$300. In one case they found some things that needed repair and did it under warranty. More for peace of mind.

THIS ^^^ only I would use an independent mechanic, just like you would for purchasing a used vehicle. Then take any discovered issue to the dealership for resolution.

It goes without saying but with only 87 miles left on the warranty, just make sure you don't go over before getting it to the dealer.

Shop for a cheap Toyota extended warrantee to cover everything but the drive train...which is 60/60.

...and remember, the bumper-to-bumper warranty really expires at 36000 miles from delivery, so you may have a few more miles (for example, if you received the car at 15 miles, then the warranty expires at 36015)...

Have them do all the extra 4wd stuff- lube your zerks on the front driveshaft, tighten all chassis bolts, etc.

(I know, should have been doing it all along, but some don’t...)

This is by far, one of, if not, the best advice via a post I have ever read in a thread since I started to get involved in forums.
    Thank you,,, BRILLIANT.
