Things are about to get exciting in the truck world. With the release of the refreshed 2020 Toyota Tacoma just a couple months away, truck shoppers are compiling their wish lists already. Especially those painted Army Green.

You mean the next FJ cruiser color being put on a Tacoma

 

Sorry but I would never buy anything in this color short of a 1942 Willys, IMO.

 

Hmmm how about putting a v8 in it or a small 3l diesel instead. Oh no let’s just paint them green and we’re gonna sell a ton of them.

 

Would love to see a Tacoma in British Racing Green like the old Jags.

 

4th gens will probably be 4cyl only, perhaps a turbo option, and a hybrid.

 

Unfortunately that’s not how the masses think. New color= hype and they will sell a ton. Best ROI Toyota could make lol.

 

The only thing that excites me somewhat is the headlights.

Hopefully they decide to ditch installing the snorkels from the factory

 

A Diesel for the Tacoma is long overdue IMHO. That would give me a reason to visit the Stealership again.

I like the headlights but look too much like a charger.

 

They make a truck with a V8. It’s called a Tundra.

 

That doesn't look like Olive Drab to me. Looks more like diarrhea green. You are not going to win over many soldiers or right wing extremist with that high gloss paint. It reminds me of my friends 73 Pinto.

I wasn't picky about the color truck I bought as long as it wasn't blue (just because we've had many blue cars) or black.

If this or any other green were available when I bought my truck, I would have been picky about the color.

 

Yeah, why didn't they put one engine platform that is on death's door, and another nobody in the US wants... Good idea.

I'll never get why so many here are so out of touch with the auto industry and where it's heading. lol

 

I don't like it, I can't quite place my finger on what it reminds me of but yuk.
