My cab is as quiet as a mouse. Some noises are to be expected as there are manufacturing tolerances and assembly differences from one truck to next. Small ticks and rubbing noises are normal. If something is obnoxiously loud or just plain doesn't seem right, take it in and have Toyota fix it.

Yeah don't worry about it then. You'd be opening pandora's box having dealership techs tear apart your interior.... unless something sounds clearly broken or excessively noisy, leave it be.

It could be so many things that we can't really help pin point but yes, I'm sure every truck has little creaks and ticks, some folks just tune it out more easily.

Might be your unclicked passenger seatbelts rattling against the columns when they're not in use. Could be something moving in the jack storage area. Could be a wire that wasn't clipped in to place properly from the factory and it's tapping something during movement, who knows. Mine is pretty quiet minus the goofy shit listed above really.

If one has items In glovebox, door panels , under seat storage and so on, this could contribute to odd noises.

Get some mud tires. You won't notice small noises anymore.

If there was only one good thing about this site, it’s that it has made me feel like I won the lottery with my taco since it runs like a top, doesn’t make weird noises, or do any of the myriad other shitty things people complain about here.

Guess I’m just lucky huh... :humble:

I've accumulated a list of noises I hear in the cab of my tacoma and found only one solution. Make the radio louder.

I have this annoying buzz from below the glovebox area but I never remember to look at it when I'm done getting to where I'm going. After I put Dakar springs in it makes a bit more noise from the rear too. No major issues though. I should have gotten something louder than k02 tires I guess.
