I have recently gotten a 4 inch BDS lift for my 05 tacoma. The kit comes with a 3 inch block for the rear. I have had my rear leaf springs replaced on a recall. I have read that since the new springs have 4 leafs instead of 3 the 4th leaf adds about 1.25 inches of lift. I have looked into AALs and full replacement springs, particularly OME and ToyTec. I would rather have something along those lines than a block, or atleast not a block that big. I want the truck to be pretty much level if possible, but a slight bit of squat or rake wouldn’t bother me as long as it’s minimal. What’s the best option for ride quality and longevity? Any help is appreciated.
