Looking to replace an older vehicle with a pickup. The Tacoma Crewcab, 4x4, TRD Pro looks like what I want. I do want all the latest vehicle safety options like lane keeping, active cruise, blind spot, auto braking, led headlamps, etc. I tried to use the build it yourself but could not find the packages. How can I find the vehicle with all the available options? I want to be sure I get all the cool features. I do not need a towing package or any of the accessory type items but I do not want to miss out on any technology stuff.

Go to the dealership and speak to the Internet Sales and/or Inventory Manager. They have access to the factory manufacturing system and other region's port inventories, and can redirect specific vehicles to a dealership. Larger dealerships tend to have these roles in separate people. I worked with an Inventory Manager to get my specific configuration scheduled to build and dedicated to me (5 month wait) because it was too hard finding something as specific as what I wanted. For what you're describing, you're probably going to simply get your name attached to a specific dealership allocation truck, so that when it is programmed for delivery to that dealership it's already considered "sold."

Depending on how the dealership handles it, that is.

Bottom line, get to know the dealership folks - they'll find you what you're looking for if it isn't local.

Welcome to TW, and happy hunting!!

TSS which has the lane alert, active cruise, etc is standard on all models. If you get the Pro, you'll have the blind spot and back up alerts too as standard. Plus the Pro has the LED fog lights. Have fun!

From what it sounds like you're saying, you definitely want a 2020 Tacoma. If you can hold out, it'll have everything you mention on the TRD Pro

My newest vehicle has an amazing number of safety features and now I do not want a vehicle that does not have them. Got spoiled and at my age, having them is now mandatory. I will go to the dealership and start working with them.
Does the 2019 Tacoma offer led headlights? Sounds like this could be a 2020 feature.
Is the TRD Pro the highest trim level?

Yes, Pro is the big kahuna. However, you can also get all of those safety features on an upscaled TRD Sport or TRD Off-Road, and on the Limited. Pros are RARE and some dealers add an upcharge to them.

Again, your best bet is wait for a 2020 (power seat) and talk to the dealership guys about your specific wants.

The TRD Pro has all the upgraded features and only comes that way you can’t downgrade packages which is why you don’t see those options.
Only accessories vary on the Pros

When you're on the website building a Pro, that's it, no packages, it has everything. If you build any lower trims (except limited, perhaps?) that's where you can choose packages.
