Hey guys, i just got cussed out and insulted by the owner of calmini products for requesting a refund for a bumper i ordered on thursday and called to cancel on monday. Prior to ordering they said it had a 6 week lead time and when i called to cancel it the lady said ok thats fine, i asked for email confirmation and received nothing. Then yesterday i called back and she said the owner wants to speak with me and will call me. No call today and the charge is still on my card. So i called and asked to speak to the owner, he got heated instantly and started to insult me and even called me a "little bitch". He said they wouldn't issue me a refund even though i sold my truck and called to cancel within 3 business days on a product with a 6 week lead time. I remained professional and polite for the conversation (because i was recording it) and i told him that he would be getting more negative reviews on the toyota and nissan forums for this and i hope its worth the $430.00 bumper. After mention of MORE negative reviews of his company his tone changed a little and he said they would send a check to the address i had listed. not good enough. he continued to be rude and insult me until he hung up on me. So i called back and left a message for him with receptionist. I said that i had recorded the conversation and it would be making its rounds on the forums. He immediately called me back and with a more sincere tone said that there was no need for that and that the refund would be issued immediately. I told him to eat a dick too its late for that. He got pissy and mentioned a law suit for using the recording without consent. So i told him Colorado is a ONE PARTY consent state and good luck with that.

So my question for you guys, what section of tacomaworld is best for me to post this review/ complaint? Im not going to make the phone recording public until i speak to my attorney about it since they are located in California which is a two party consent state. But there is nothing stopping me from explaining my experience with that company and their completely unprofessional owner via my own words in the forums.

What do you all recommend? also, dont do business with calmini (duh)

I am the receptionist that you spoke with today and I want to remind you that your bumper could take up to 6 weeks since we do these in batches. We were finishing up your bumper batch when you made your order so we expedited one more into the production before beginning the next batch of parts.
Because of your obvious disregard for our policies you have been 86'd

P.S.
You got heated with my boss first because he told you there is a 20% restocking fee and that you wouldn't get an immediate refund (poor you). The conversation went down hill from there. Plus you agreed to the sales agreement when you made the order (July 28,2019) and you were reminded when you tried to cancel (July 30, 2019). As for the "little bitch" comment, you deserved that one. Especially since you had an attitude with me when we spoke Tuesday, but I'm a girl so I'll be fine. Next time read the agreement before making a purchase. By the way you have your refund.

You created an account here to save face for your boss, youre not going to convince anyone here otherwise . And i dont need to clarify the actual conversation with this he said she said, i can just review the recording. I was polite the entire time even after the insults from him. The restocking fee was never mentioned until after i told him id dispute it with my bank, AFTER he said he wouldnt do the refund. I never had an attitude with anyone at your company until steve called me back and threw rocks from his glass house. As for the “you got your refund” let it be known i haven't received any email confirmation of such, nor any refund credit to my bank account. So as of now, no i have not been refunded.

If you want to discuss it further you have my email and phone number i wont be giving you the time on this thread, my buddies have bullshitting to do.

I recommend updating your resume.
