Haha, unfortunately I can't claim credit for that, it had that scar before I worked there. The mechanical engineers usually don't let me near the Bridgeport, I had to sneak in.

I saw it driving past me and thought the same thing (we have a auto wreck auction yard at the end of our road) as I was pulling out to the light...then I saw the black Tacoma letters!!

Yeah, I got quoted $175 a wheel and it would take 3+ days. I don't know how I'd pull that off since I'd need a tire shop to dismount the tires and then need someplace to store my hobbled truck. If you're going to do this, it's best to by some take-offs and have them powder coated and then mounted. Still, your past what a lot of new aftermarket wheels can be had for. I paid $180 per wheel for Method 701's, mounted and balanced plus $20 per for new TMPS. Then sold my take offs for $480 so my net cost was $80 for new wheels.

Turned out great. A day later the windows go up and down without a hitch. I really like the no-adhesive application.

Found this "Climate Control cleaning kit" the other day while I was looking at the Toyota name brand kit. A man can buy 2 of these "Subaru" name brand kits for what 1 Toyota cleaning kit sells for. (Probably the same stuff just different labels) Thought I would post a link for anyone that has a funky smelling A/C besides me.

Looks good man! I’ve got the same tires on mine too. I’m just waiting on my Bilstein 5100 kit to come in next week then I’ll be sitting up another 2”! Good luck figuring out what set up you want.

Its all the same stuff. At VW they have a special machine (its just a humidifier) that they put the chemical into, then just run the car with recirculation on and the machine running for 20 minutes... tech does nothing yet they charge like $150 to do the service.
