Yep - they don't have it either.

    Open to alternatives :D

I suppose if it's urgent, you can find someone around that make a custom brake line for you. No idea what the costs would be on that though. Maybe if there's a classic car restoration shop or something like that around.

I was gonna say the same. It is just a hard brake line after all. With the right tools it could be mended easily. But I am curious why Toyota puts that coil in the line.

My guess is either makes it springy, so it can be fitted easier, or because its a shared part with another vehicle that requires it for whatever reason.

That was my thought but I wouldn't understand why they'd be so completely out of stock and "discontinued" if that were the case, especially being so new

I don't believe for a second that its discontinued. There's no way Toyota would just stop manufacturing a brake line that's used across their line. Out of stock, sure.

I'm kinda thinking that those who no longer stock it are using the word "discontinued" loosely, as in they discontinued carrying it for whatever reason.

That said, I finally tracked down a specialty shop around me who only does brake lines and the foreman at my shop is game to fab something. Sounds like we're going to make something work out - it's just not going to be OEM or "covered by warranty" - not that I give a shit about that anymore, all things considered

awesome find, they literally have a 3rd gen Taco on their homepage!

...but it looks like they do the braided lines, which are meant to replace the flex lines, not the hard lines. Did they say that they could fab the hard line part you're looking for?

Between them and the foreman at my mechanic, they worked something out so I'm golden...following a 3 day perfect storm

Needless to say, might even be able to hit a trail this weekend!
