Every mechanic I talk to says the brake system never needs new fluid I do because of the frame swap .

 

Funny, I took my truck in for the leaf spring recall and they said the fluid was dark. I would imagine that it can be contaminated even though the system is "sealed", but I am no mechanic

 

I’m sure it can’t hurt to replace the fluid .

Same here....took mine way back in 1984 when i was a youngster.

 

I was in the oilfield back then

 

Was good work in those days. No way you could get me there today. Zero patience for meaningless red tape.

 

Yea it was but it didn’t last long. After being a mechanic I went into plumbing and been ever since. Lots of guys went to oil recently only to come crawling back

 

I lasted a fair jag. Long enough to destroy two shoulders, one wrist, & one knee. My first exposure to some good TX guys. My first few years, they taught me a lot.
