it really depends on if they have a lot of food...deer are usually moving from feeding area to bedding area. but the only thing good is they do get a little pattern-able...just a matter of being there at the right time.

Not sure. I've never gun hunted there, only bowhunt. All I can say for sure is that rifles are not allowed during firearms season.

Yes, you can use muzzle loader during shotgun season and they also have a muzzle loader only season.

I don't thing so, I think the case length is to long. Google says 2.105 inches. DNR say's max length of 1.8.

All Firearm Deer Seasons - Limited Firearm Deer Zone (See pg. 11) In the Limited Firearm Deer Zone, all hunters afield from Nov. 15-30, and all deer hunters in this zone during other deer seasons, must abide by the following firearm restrictions or use a crossbow or a bow and arrow. Legal firearms are as follows:
    • A shotgun may have a smooth or rifled barrel and may be of any gauge.
    • A muzzleloading rifle or black powder handgun must be loaded with black powder or a commercially manufactured black powder substitute.
    • A conventional (smokeless powder) handgun must be .35 caliber or larger and loaded with straight-walled cartridges and may be single- or multiple-shot but cannot exceed a maximum capacity of nine rounds in the barrel and magazine combined. 2018 Michigan Hunting Digest 21 EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS • A firearm deer hunter may carry afield a bow and arrow, crossbow and firearm. Exceptions: See Muzzleloading Deer Seasons below.
A .35 caliber or larger rifle loaded with straight-walled cartridges with a min. case length of 1.16 inches and a maximum case length of 1.80 inches.
    • A .35 caliber or larger air rifle or pistol charged only from an external highcompression power source.

What are you guys using for targets? I've shot the shit out of my bag. Was thinking of moving to a foam target. Maybe a Rinehart or something. I like that you can replace the cores on them.

Just need to find a BPS by me. I think it's the cost to ship these that makes all these targets so expensive.

I use a black block, you can shoot all sides, its been holding up good. It does take broadheads but some of the middle is getting shot out of one side I use the most ;) Rinehart block we use for the crossbow, its more dense and the crossbow doesnt blow through it.
