Based on my latest pledge to the Toyota family, I think I'll do one of these this time. Nothing too extreme will happen, but I'll use this to plan and track my ideas and progress.

    Background (all Manual Trans )

I gotta say, I'm loving this truck! Even the things that irritated me in mid 2015 when it was introduced aren't as significant to me now. The big ass nose and lip aren't as obtrusive as my initial impression lead me to believe. I'm even starting to like the "Baja" stance and profile. From the drivers seat the hood seems wide and kinda flat, but not uncomfortable in any way. With the manual trans, the 3.5 is easily manageable for both economy or power and torque when needed. And the legendary solid tight Toyota feel is there for me in every aspect.

Those are my impressions from my first 3 days. :)

That’s a nice Name. Glad all is good on the new purchase. Good your liking the stick shift.
I would have purchased a MT but
The red lights in my county are like the whores that used to be on 42nd street in NYC that we’re on 20’ centers :D
A lot of stop and go. Wish you best with the new Truck

Thanks Jimi. My commute is 35 mins hwy, then 15 mins on base with only 4 stops; gate and 3 intersections.
I have an odd theory that the MT will help my "trick" left knee 'cuz regular movement "exercise." It didn't start acting up 'til after I bought the Ram.
    :notsure: :fingerscrossed:
