I went OEM(ish) route. Even though mine is a '14 and aux lights weren't an option, The truck has existing factory wiring for lights.
Below the plastic bumper skins, there is a hole on each side for mounting a light.
I bought an OEM switch ,relay and some plug and play sections of harness.

Well, solved the fog/driving light issue. 2 9 LED Westin lights, wired to either function along with the High Beams, or by themselves.

I agree. Do you have some more details such as parts used and maybe a link for the work involved.
    Great idea

Sorry for late reply, but I believe these are the numbers I used..

    Fog Light Switch PN: PT297-35070-SW x 1
    Switch Harnes PN: PT297-35070-SH x 1
    Lamp Harness PN: PT297-35070-LH x 1
    AUX relay PN: PT297-89016 x 1
    15 amp (small) fuse x 1
    t-taps x 2 (For backlight)

There are several threads floating around the Blue Room (FJ Forum) regarding installing OEM fogs and IDing what parts of the factory harness is already there and the 2 pieces listed that you need to get.

It's been a while, but when I did mine, pretty much everything was clear cut. The only hose up I had was with the PIAA lights.

OEM harness has Deutsch connectors and the lights had PIAA connectors. Had to swap the connectors on the light ends. A real PIAA(lol) for me.
I also wired mine so they work independently of any other lights, which I like.

    Edit;
I don't know what lights you want to run, but I put the PIAA fogs on the FJ and they're more of a "flood" pattern.
OTOH, I recently installed KC Slimline Halogen driving lights using the KC harness and an aftermarket switch on the Taco.
I much prefer the "Driving" pattern over the fog. The really reach out, IMO.

Halogens don't "ice up" in the Winter like my LED pod lights on the Taco.

Thanks for all of the good info (part numbers, tips, FJForum etc). I have a 2014 FJC that I have been thinking about adding lights.
