gosh.. where do I start, 18x9’s on 275-65 ridge grapplers. Bilsteins, clazzio leather, audio consists of stereo integrity, fosgate power amps, sundown audio, hybrid audio. Plus more...
I was never one to ask for help or a handout. But these days, my experience of mechanical work just isn’t up to par due to my crappy health and lack of patience. Soo.. I’m swallowing my pride cause money is soo tight these days (srp bill is wiping me out and I really can’t afford to pay a shop but will someone please help me change my brake pads on my 2013 Tacoma. Not exactly sure if I need just front or rear or possibly even both. Truck has 70k miles on her these days. I can purchase the parts. And I have a super hot garage we can use and all the tools we need but I really need someone who knows what they’re doing to help me do them. I can at least give u something. My health has made me weak as hell and the wheel and tire combo is just way too darn heavy for me to even lift up to get it back on the studs. Thank you in advance to everyone. Life has been a little rough lately.
I’m in Mesa approx Gilbert rd and brown rd. Please reply or call text. 4802990005. Thanks

    Too few to list.
Sorry about your health. I'd totally help out if you were local. Brakes are super easy. I doubt you need the rears. Usually front brakes on these trucks last longer than 70K. Do yo know for sure you need brakes already?

Toyota brake pads really last longer than 70k. Wow. Ok well I guess I should go take a closer look then. Thank you for reaching out to me.

Sorry to hear about your health, I'd help you if I was local. I have coached many coworkers through brake work on their own cars.

I had to change out my brake pads at 60k, it really depends on how you use the truck. I do think if it's stock and only sees street use that they should last longer, but there are a lot of variables that go into that. If you live or drive on mountain roads you probably do a lot more braking that someone who doesn't for example.

I would help if I were local, I'm no mechanic but I'm able to do easier stuff like this. Hope you're able to find someone in your area.

BTW be sure to swap out the rotors too, they're cheap and easy to do since you're already doing the brake pads. Also your rear drum brakes shouldn't need any servicing at 70k, I bet it's just the front brakes that need work. Be good to pull the drums off to inspect them and clean them a bit though.
