Ideal lift for RTT setup?

Hey guys, got my Taco in October and have been modding it over time with the things I needed first. Tent went up last month so now all that's left is the lift. I've spent a significant amount of time trying to do the research on my own but i'm having trouble coming to a conclusion as my last Jeep was plagued with suspension issues from the previous owner.

The car is a 2010 4wd with fully stock suspension. Aiming for 3" lift.

Shocks: I work in the bike industry and can get EP discounts on fox so I was looking at
Fox IFP 2.0 Coilovers and shocks

Upper control arms: Dirtking or Camburg?

The rear end lift i'm really unsure about, I have about 500 pounds of weight on the back so I know new leaf springs are the way to go such as these Heavy duty old man emu's. But i'm seeing other people do a mix of springs, blocks and u-bolt flips. I really think I have the front figured out but if anyone has any recommendations for the rear, or both it would be greatly appreciated!

 

Id go with HD dakars, U bolt flip with Wheelers bump stops or if you have the money, Fox hydro bumps.

 

I went with the Icon Multi-Rate RXT Leaf Spring Kit and I think its perfect for the application since you can add or remove leaves for different spring rates. Well worth the extra compared to the other options, plus they haven't made a single squeak!

I would stay away from blocks unless you want that nostalgic jeep ride quality...

I’d skip on both of those UCA’s. You won’t be jumping with a RTT so don’t waste your time and money on uni-ball UCA. Too much noise and maintenance while lacking articulation and longevity of a good ball-joint.

 

JBA high caster upper control arms (ball joint), HD Dakars in the rear. Remember extended brake lines for the rear. With a discount on Fox I'd definitely go for Fox, 2.0 will suit your needs just fine.

 

Yeah, with my setup i'm just doing slow crawling everywhere I go. Do you have any recommendations for a set? I'm looking around and they're all around the same price or more for ball joints. Like this Camburg setup

Edit: Actually the one @taco_rhyno mentioned might be the one to go with!

And as far as the rear goes I went back and it looks like my original weight estimate was off. More like 350 pounds on the rear. So just to make sure I have all of this right looking at these with and some longer

 

Sorry to revive an old thread, but what did you end up going with in the back? I have a RTT + gear in the bed and I'm seeing a little sag.

 

I would take a peek at Deaver. I have the stage 3 u402 leafs. I carry a lot of weight, but there are different options to suit your needs. Love mine

Hopefully its not too late but I ended up going with the Old man emu "Dakar medium duty" leaf pack with bilstein 5100's. With all the gear I have on there currently I would say theres about 400 pounds of constant weight and the ride is perfect. The constant weight makes the medium duties always be slightly loaded which leads to a super smooth ride on all terrain, i've done a lot of trails with it and have had zero bottoming out issues.

 

Are you lifted or stock height? I'm wondering if I could do something like this and not have to mess with changing out the front stock suspension. My truck is level or maybe just a touch higher in the front now with my bedrack and RTT weighing the back down plus full cooler and water jug etc in the bed for camping.
