Cross posted in Suspension forum too, but might get answers faster here.

I had my UCAs replaced this last weekend, the tech installing them misunderstood my instructions and installed them with the caster adjustment cam facing the cab, so I ended up with a caster of ~0.7 degrees

I am going to adjust them back to the 3.0 setting, but had a question regarding doing that.

To adjust the cam it looks like I would have to separate the UCA/balljoint and the spinde, correct?

To do so do I have to remove anything else, or just disconnect the brake line from the UCA, knock it loose and adjust?

Only concern is getting the balljoint back into the spindle, I've replaced shocks before and installed coil overs, but never UCAs. I wanted to make sure I didnt have to remove anything else to allow it to bolt back together.

I adjust them sometimes with the wheels on, just support the weight from underneath, loosen it and rotate to desired position.

Consider blowing out any debris while doing this. Also consider re-torqueing the 22mm bolts that hold the arm in.

It looks like I wont have to separate the balljoint from the spindle, but rather just back the castle nut off a bit and knock the ball joint connection loose. My main concern was getting the joint reseated. Is it just as simple and tightening the castle nut back down until it pulls the joint back into the spindle?

Yes, usually if there's no corrosion, it all moves nicely. It's a bastard with 33"+ wheels though haha. Maybe just remove them, we leave them on due to it being on a Alignment rack when I do this.
