Been looking for an OBD2 scanner/plugin just to have more data available and easy to monitor. I think I’ve narrowed it down to BAFX and BlueDriver.

What is everyone’s opinions on these? Is it worth the ~$70 more for BlueDriver? Is there a better option than these 2? Never purchased something like this before so I’m ignorant as to what is best to look for.

bluedriver uses proprietary code and that is a deal breaker for me. i use obdlink mx.. it's a solid good one and super fast, compatible with all the apps that blue driver is not compatible with. like fusion. you can get it with WiFi also.

The WiFi wasn’t a deal breaker. But the BAFX Bluetooth isn’t compatible with iOS. I’ll have to look that one up. Just want something to watch how my deriving habits affect my vehicle and what not

yes, good luck, I'm on Android so don't know your ios options. just watch for getting stuck with proprietary stuff.
