Odd's of 2019 Incentives Increasing?

Latest Aug. cash back increased from $500 to $750 here in New England. With the updated 2020's hitting the lots in the next couple of months, do you think cash back will increase in Sept./ Oct.? Max. for the 2018's in NE was $1K and hoping Toyota meets or exceeds that amount to move the '19's.

 

It was $1500 in December of 2018 for 18's

 

Where? Different regions can and do have different incentive packages.

 

It won't change by more than $500ish....

IMHO that's not enough difference to make me wait on a new vehicle that I want/need

 

I expect the deals on 2019's will be good once the 2020's are shipping.

Seems as though you have inside information? Can you provide more details on the factory to dealer incentives and the window?

 

I got three internet quotes from local dealers (via Trucar) on a 2019 TRDOR 4x4 DCSB, auto trans.. In addition to the advertised $750 customer cash back there also appears to be a $750 Factory cash to dealer incentive right now. Dealers are under no obligation to pass that incentive on to the customer but a couple of dealers specifically included it in their quotes. You also have to be aware and on the look out for other incentives that dealers include in the discounted price that you may or may not qualify for, such as military or student cash back offers.

The quote below offered the best initial total discount. I thought it was a pretty decent offer without any negotiation.

MSRP $ 37,808 (Floor mats and sill guards are the only options)
Savings $ 6,092 (Includes $750 cash back to customer and $750 cash back to dealer - no other promotions included)
Deal $ 31,716 (Taxes, Title, Doc fee, Reg./ Tags would be extra)

Problem is it's not the color I want and I still think there's another $750 - $1K to be had. Not sure what this particular dealers doc fee is (lowest I've seen around here is $300) but that will get added back in on any final deal.

 

Are you going to finance through them or your own personal bank? I know there are deals they give if you use them,but that can come with higher APR

 

For the Portland OR region we have $1000 cash back and $750 bonus cash, totalling to $1750.

 

Just got an email from my local Toyota that has the same amount for a discount as well. Not a bad deal
