That's the only way to guarantee fresh. Everything in the market is at least 3 days to shelf.... that isnt fresh... that's 3 days old.

I can kinda under stand this. A lot of people don’t store or prep food like they should. My own mother is kinda like this.

My mom- ohh I want what ever meat ( fish, steak, even chicken) for dinner. Let me get it out of the freezer About 7:30-8am before I go to work till 4:30. This way it will thaw out so I can cook when I get home. P.S I really don’t want to know how long that food has been above 40*

I decided to bring my chainsaw with me for after fishing to work on a oak that fell on FIL’s property, but I didn’t want to leave it in my truck only to make it smell like holy hell with the fuel and oil. So I worked like a dumbass dog for three hours in the heat.
Didn’t get onto river ( for pike) till about 5 . Still got three hours in. I got one white perch and a small smallmouth base
