    Still stock completely capable!
The shitty T word is the only reason I didn’t go M/T and I mean the only reason!! When I’m commuting home from 1 store and I’m home in 30 min I regret not going M/T.. when I’m at a farther store and I hit the 2 hour mark I realize I made the unfortunate right decision.. also said before I do own standard CSRT4 AND! When I find the right FJ it will be M/T 100%

I drive St Aug beaches with no problem, to me, thats a much rougher sand than on the panhandle area, and nothing like northern OBX. I've pulled a lot of Jeeps out of the sand in Corolla. Finest sand I'd ever seen was Barking Sands on Kaui - had a rental and even with 4wd, wasn't going to do it.

I use to live in Avon, NC for a while and would get the strangest looks as I drove my 75 Ford Esquire wagon down Cape Point to Rodanthe. Dropped those tires till they where running on the rims almost. Too crowded now and too many people stop in the no track white sand with no clue. I'll only go with my truck and special tries now. Most of the air pumps along OBX are gone now anyway.

Absolutely. I get to drive my dads 07 xrunner with some performance mods and shifting through that 6 speed tranny just brings a smile to my face:burnrubber: you have best of both worlds my friend, I hopefully will be there soon:D

Love my ‘17 Sport MT. I drive mine on the sandy beaches of Delaware. No issue!

After 20K of driving on the road, I still love it!

This... I’m biased as I have AT. I’ve had several MTs but the MT Offroad I tested had ergonomics that just didn’t fit me. The gears felt too long and situated too far away from the driver. I felt like I’d have to be leaning forward to reach all the gears. (Now I am short and lacking monkey arms)

I wish it had fit me better as my wife doesn’t know how to operate manual and I wouldn't need to come up with excuses every time she wants to take my truck.

And now I need to come up with $700 for OVTune to make the S mode to be worth while.

No one really needs an OVTune that's like throwing money away

This reminds me of sneaking out in high school, I’d coast down the hill and drop the clutch once I was at a decent distance.

Had to do this several times on my old Subaru and once on my Harley

Haven’t actually tried it yet on the truck. I’ll give it a go one of these days

Oh look snow, in a manual. Just remember torque not horsepower, just go easy and its no big deal.
Also if you understand how it all works there is no need for all the computer aided gimmicks.
But this just boils down to - Do you want MT or AT!?
This has been beaten to death in many threads.

No i'm looking to get an MT in my next vehicle i was more asking about how people enjoy the MT Tacoma and its quirks such as the clunk in neutral. Because if i don't decide on the Tacoma i pretty much have to get a car.
