I didn't know what section to put this in but this looked like the best place for it. I really like all this 3d printed stuff. I like trying new things. I had a few questions. Are they easy to use? What kind should I look for and stay away from? I am not the greatest with computers does that matter a lot? I usually can figure out thing from just playing with them.

    I don't.

    I don't even have a color printer.

That takes off the peer pressure, right?

They can be pretty fun, but at the same a PITA. The first one I had an Anrt A8 was easy and fun to use. My current printer an FLsun Cube 3D is a lot bigger and has 2 extruders for different colors and materials. The
g-code is killing me on that one as it only works when it wants to. In summation, it can be cool and fun but be prepared to learn a lot and spend a lot of time tinkering, learning CAD, and maybe learning g-code20190331_151730.jpg pic of the A8 before I sold it
Screenshot_20190804-204223_WhatsApp.jpg pic of the only success I've had on the FLsun Cube

Cad seems like it would be a lot of fun. I don't know what t-shirt code is, what is that exactly?

If you meant g-code, that's the language that most printers read (as well as other cnc machines). If you mean how to print designs onto t-shirts, then you put a t shirt on the print bed and do a whole lot of trial and error with certain printing materials and settings. I've never tried it, but I've seen others do it quite often.
Learning cad is really fun due to the abundance of free programs you can get. The Autodesk suite will be your best friend.

I'm wandering down the CNC plasma cutting table road myself. Lots of things relate to both.

Buy a laser engraver- more expensive, but much faster and you can do more with it.

Find a friend who already has a 3-D printer, and have them create a 3D printer for you. :D
