The Red warning, that shows a figure with a big round Bubble in front of him, is on. I assumed it was the Pax seat sensor, with some weight on the seat. Nope, reboot with no side weight, still on. Is this the issue with the "spiral cable" recall notice? Reason I have not gone to the dealer is I added the cruise wire to that connector, and assume they will get bent out of shape when discovered. Just came on recently, my added CC wire has been there at least 2 years now.

If you've been in there, even a couple years ago, back-track and make sure the airbag connectors (the yellow ones) are all fully connected. I replaced the spiral cable on our 06 Tacoma and didn't have one of the cables fully plugged in so the airbag light would intermittently come on and go off.

Otherwise, my money is on the spiral cable itself...

Maybe check the plugs under the seats?

Does your horn work? If not, there's a good chance it's the spiral cable (aka clock spring). It was on my '08.
