    Hey all,

I'm more of a lurker here but this offer has me a little stumped. My friend basically has and wants to unload this kit (from the sound of things, still need to completely confirm if he has UCA's): https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/s...tein_5100_Kit_w/_Dakars_(HS05BK-1-Dakar).html

I've been considering taking it off his hands for a very good (for me) price. However given my type of usage I'm not sure. My uses are mostly light-duty off-road, mellow stream crossings getting to campsites, 14er parking & camping in the bed, remote camping, sleeping platform in the bed, etc.

I don't really have a need or want to raise the truck very much, maybe 1.5" and definitely not enough to warrant adjusting differential stuff. But what does have me interested is stiffening up my ride. With the topper, sleeper platform, second battery up front it all feels a little floaty. I'd also like a bit more support for all the gear I continually have in the back on longer trips.

What do you think, go for it? I've got the scratch and I don't think I'll get an opportunity like this again. Will I notice or will it be more trouble than not? Should I just stick with better leaf springs or go with AAL's?

That's a good basic kit, from what you describe, that's probably all you'll want.
