I know there's a bunch of DSLR folks on here. What are you using for camera cases? I'm looking for a good case to take on trips that'll hold a camera body, a couple lenses and some filters. My chief concern is keeping dust out. I'm considering a Pelican case but they're so expensive.

I use something similar to this. Not as elaborate yoke set up. But i like it. Can put other stuff besides camera equipment in there.

Oh theres actually a pizza in the box? I figured it was empty. And he could be half mast in there without pushing the lid up. Just lay it out instead of aiming to paint the roof

@Sharkfrog I use something similar to Don's backpack because I keep it inside the cab. If you are leaving it in an open space like the bed while on trail, dust will get in.

Harbor Freight has some inexpensive hard cases for cameras: just grab the 20-25% off coupon that they mail/email out

Mine will be in the cab as well. I was thinking hard case because it's pretty rare that I'd take the whole kit with me, and all the straps and stuff on a backpack make for a very cluttered space. Also I have a bad habit of having my windows down, and dust gets everywhere anyway. I'll have to check out those harbor freight boxes.

I use the harbor freight Apache hard cases. They work just as well as the pelicans ive used. But way less $$.

I've considered a case like this for spare parts. @EatSleepTacos i believe has one with cv, driveshaft and some other common parts for wheeling. Stashed on the cab rack.

Those Apache cases from HF might be a reasonable alternative. They seem to be pretty well constructed. Claim to be water tight.
