How to remove dealer logo from tailgate?

    2019 Tacoma Base v6 4x4 Double Cab
    My dealer added their corporate logo to the bottom left of my tailgate, and it appears to be quite stuck there. I am considering having them properly remove it but do not relish arguing with them about not paying for this "service" - is there a good way to break through the adhesive without damaging the tailgate? I could put a sticker over it but I prefer a clean tailgate.

    This is why I provide a detailed list of "do's and dont's" when I buy my vehicles. They may not enjoy it but they want my money so they'll honor my minor requests (no tire shine, no dealer plate frame, no dealer logo, don't detail aka swirlify my new paint, etc)

    Sorry to hear your dealer is so crappy that they won't remove a sticker for you.

    I didn’t leave the dealership with their sticker in place. Part of the sales paperwork, was a release, saying it was ok to put it on. I refused to sign it, unless they refunded another $500 for my personal advertising fees. Didn’t end up with that sticker :D

    That sticker will come off with your fingernail - no need to heat, goo gone or any of that other non sense. Any remaining residue a quick shot of wd 40.
