6 MT 3rd Gear Grind Low Range

    I've got a 19 offroad manual with about 8k on it now. Since new I've noticed it grinds into third while in low range. This seems odd to me as it never does this in high range, no matter the rpm/ speed. Taking my time on the shift and being gentle doesn't help much. The only way to get a smooth shift in low range is to double clutch it. I'm wondering if any of you have experienced this and maybe have ideas as to why this is happening. The synchros seem to work just fine in all other circumstances. I'm thinking a trip to the dreaded dealership might be in order...
