    Hey Everybody!

I just picked up a 1998 Tacoma Limited w/ 198k miles from the original owner. This man babied this truck as a daily driver and mild off-roading. Everything except oil changes had been done by the dealership, including new leaf springs at 178k.

This is my third Toyota Pickup! My first was a "81 regular cab, 4x4, SR5. I grow up traveling the country (and Canada) in this one. Then rebuilt the engine and learned to drive in it. I was just over 278k when I went over seas and had to sell it. After I returned to Arizona I got an "85 regular cab, 4x4 and drove it for only a year or so before the engine went (beyond my knowledge base). So I found a nice mechanic at the Toyota dealership to sell it to. I recently saw it driving down the road. It looked happy.

I spent the last few years driving with my butt only a few inches from the ground. I am glad to be back up high in a Toyota again, where I belong. I plan on doing a few mods to the truck for now (new house and family take up most of my funds).

I have visited this site several times recently and figured now was the time to finally join.
