Ok, Baja Designs SAE or Morimoto's...I am having a difficult time choosing.

Looking at MOSTLY on road, but...someday...off. Both of these are street legal.

Looking at these two specifically right now.

Between the two Baja SAEs will provide more lighting for you downrange. However, the Morimoto offering adheres to SAE lighting profile much better than the Baja units.

Just remember you won't have any but originals to compare them to. Find a color and warranty you like and buy them.

Do yourself a favor and get the KC gravity G4 led plug and play replacement. Amber or clear choice is yours. Amber is better for severe weather.

    23 year warranty

I have Diode Dynamics and love them. Nice wide pattern and great light without being obnoxiously bright. Plenty for these old eyes. And the 3 yr warranty works for me.

I’ve got the Morimoto xb LED fogs in mine. I’m happy with their output and pattern, plus the 5500k color matches with my HID kit from them and the DRL LEDs. I believe they are also available in amber now.

All the SAE foglights are covered in this thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/

Including Baja Designs and Morimoto. The Morimoto beam pattern is really narrow for my tastes and doesn't give the area coverage that some alternatives offer. The OEM Toyota LEDs are cheaper and higher performing than Morimotos, and also offer the black out look. Baja has the best area coverage, but also a lot of glare and low beam intensity in the fog area as the light is extremely distributed compared to alternatives. KC will offer the best balance of output intensity and pattern coverage, and also avoids the 'pod' look with their white 5000k lights, , the amber is a bit low in intensity but has great color. I'd recommend selective yellow over amber, and Rigid has the highest performing selective yellow fog (pod) with over 2x the intensity of Baja in the fog region, with sharp projector cut offs so glare isn't an issue. All the data is in the thread, with measurements and photos.
