Swim medals holder. Little sister is having a midlife crisis at 31 and started swimming again.

Have to readjust the bottom of the frame once I add a pic (it screws in.) Should’ve just done a slot on top to drop the picture in BUT hindsight is 20/20.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Not super easy to see with all the windows, but I made an arrow and bow holder for an old Colt set my brother had since we were kids. Used scrap pine and the antlers from a spike buck I shot years ago. Threw it up on the wall at the cabin. Not too shabby.

Thanks. I think most nick nack things I do end up being the rustic farm look. Had plenty of practice when building my shop. Figured the “distressed” look would hide and wear better over time.

I find Rust-Oleum's spray poly to be better and evener than Minwax. I used both when building my niece's wedding cross, and it was a huge difference.

Something that size, though, might need a liquid. I've never been very good keeping bubbles out of the liquid polys.

I hope it works for you but I'm a little skeptical. In order to make your concrete harder you have to vibrate out the air bubbles. The reason it's so brittle is cuz of all those bubbles. You could try to wet the concrete every hour. letting your concrete cure slower also makes your concrete get harder.
