Finally got my full suspension in...

    King, icon UCA/leaf pack
    3” lift in back
    2.5” lift up front

Hopefully it won’t take long to stuff some 35s in it.

Lol! That's when I had my "huffy" version! My buddies had the chromoly Mongoose and don't forget the "Redline"! My younger brother and I had the very heavy steel look a likes. Very hard to keep up! Had to pedal 10 times as hard! By the way, my Schwinn with banana seat was from a rummage sale! :) That's ok, all that builds character! Now I have an awesome modded out Tacoma that gets looks and thumbs up and compliments every time I take it out!

It’s set at 0, for the same reason as @rgljr831 because the 887 coils add the lift height. My stance will likely be different than @rgljr831 because I don’t have a cap. I do plan on keeping the overload in as well. I’ll definitely post pictures and a review once it’s all in and driving it for a little

Everytime I see El Capitan, I think of Free Solo, makes me a little queezy, climbing it without ropes.

Mine was a new leftover as well. I intentionally wanted a new leftover and had the dealership search for exactly what I wanted. They already had a new leftover automatic on the lot in the color I wanted but I wanted one with a 6 speed manual transmission. Saved me a little money on the sticker price but saved me a significant amount of money on the excise tax.
I try and do the same thing anytime I purchase a brand new vehicle. New is new and the le$$ money that I spend with little or no difference between model years the better.
Paying excise tax that is intended to go towards road maintenance when we have some of the worst roads in the country rubs me the wrong way.

No climbing for me, not even top roping. But show me a good vertical rappel and I'm in every time! I may be a little long in the tooth but it doesn't stop me from having fun.

The aluminum looks fine. Maybe put a coat of wax on it and buff it up once in awhile. Nice job. But FWIW, powder coating is much more durable that simply painting. It would probably set you back $150 or so to have it done so I can see why you might hesitate.

Add to that that every little scratch would stick out like a sore thumb and I think keeping it raw is a good idea. Personally I like the look and the lower maintenance associated with it......., and he made it himself! Love it when those of us make our own mods especially when they turn out so well. @HITAC17 did a great job!

I’m trying to get them made well first. I have 1 set of m/t shift and e-brake boots that I am sending to a member. I am going to get his input and most likely make some adjustments. The leather I use is very thin and droops so I need to stiffen up the top. When I get it down I will be.

Got Method 701s a few weeks ago, but just popped in their new red center caps for a splash of color. Really happy with these wheels, gave me a more aggressive stance vs. my old SEMA wheels.

Smart. Yeah I driven quite a few times on the roads up in your area. Have made many trips to New Hampshire to go skiing and recall just how bad they were. I'm sure it's rough on all of the vehicles there.
