Hello all, brand new to the page. I’ve had my truck for a couple of months now, and have been wondering about the shift points on the truck, especially when going up and down small hills. Seems to have a little trouble maintaining speed. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, is there any harm in leaving it in ECT mode?
    Thanks,

I used to only drive the truck with the ECT system on. Now that I have my truck tuned I only use ECT on the highway. There's nothing wrong with using it all of the time if you choose to do so.

Awesome, that’s was my next question, about tuning. Which programmer do you use, cost, ease of installation?

Is the tuning kit easily installed? I assume it would void any warranty I have?

If you're relatively computer savvy and can follow written instructions, then it's easy.
If you really want to take the easy route, pre-order their handheld tuner when it becomes available for ordering.

The tune should be undetectable by the dealer. Worse case scenario, you flash back to the stock tune for warranty work.
