    Well i decided to go ahead and cut the bar off.

    Painted it with black spray paint temporary until i get this re-powder coated.

    IMO you made the right choice, looks great without the hoop and will be easier to live with without it

    Also, as someone with zero metalworking skills, I'm very impressed. I can't even tell the hoop used to be there.

    Thanks, You can still see it with your eyes where something was there. Hoping when i get this re-powdercoated it will blend in. The paint right now is to prevent it from rusting.

    Looks good to me, unless it really bothers you I'd put the powder coating money towards more upgrades :D

    Oh yesss, I need sliders bad. Luckly my locoal powder coat place is flat rate. so i just wait till i have a bunch of stuff to paint and send it all at once.
