Made a trip down to Owls Head yesterday for their Wings & Wheels show. Scrubbed the truck all up and gave her a fresh coat of wax.

I want to own one of these ^ but the only decent ones I can find are ridiculously priced. Had the fastback version when I was a pup. Would love a convertible but not for $50-70K. Guy that had quarter panel rot on both rears but otherwise decent condition wanted $40K.

Too rich for my blood . . .

I spent $20K on that 67 [actual] 442. Not sure why these Impala SSs are priced so high?

Well, this 442. I've been told it is worth twice that already but I'm not selling . . .

I heard that the new Corvette wants to be one when it grows up.

It will tank the new NSX. It's half the price and no less comparable.

    Ehhh...
Chevy will have to do some serious work just to break even, really. The current NSX is nearly a full second quicker to 60, 2 seconds quicker to 100, and over a second quicker through the 1/4.

Yeah but at the price of the NSX you could just go Ferrari, Porsche or McLaren.

Nice! '67 is my favorite year of that body style...make mine a 2-door post Biscayne with a bench seat and a 4-speed.

...Right. Those options that are similarly priced have similar performance to the NSX. :notsure:

You can get a Porsche GT3 for cheaper. I would also rather have a GTR over a new NSX.

Not by much, and while it's faster than the Vette it's not any faster than the NSX.
I agree on the GT/R, though. If I'm blowing big money on a car I'd rather drive Godzilla.

If the new NSX proves to be as reliable as the old one it will become just as legendary. Buy when the price bottoms out.
