MGM paired with Ray 10 Gunmetal or Gray, any thoughts? I’m torn..

i never thought this would be such a difficult decision my god, I feel bad for emailing SCS back and forth but they’ve been awesome and super patient with me.

Narrowed down to matte Gunmetal or matte Gray. Anyone with some decent arguments who have either of them on MGM over a decent period of time? Curious if there’s anything you’ve regretted (or didn’t think of) love even more, etc now that you’ve have them on for a while. I will be running 33”+ MTs with them.

How close in color match do they come in different lighting? Heard it changes

Also, 16x8 -12?

 

Yea, they definitely change from nearly black to nearly silver depending on the light.

The shot I posted is right at sunrise with the east light behind me.

My Ray 10’s are the 17x8.5 -10 version. Tires are stock size at 265/65/17.

Gunmetal goes with pretty much any color truck. Easy

 

I vote for whatever color these are. Looks sharp.

 

That’s good to hear. Your pic looks clean with low light - they color match. But I also like the matte gray so it’s good to know they look more silver in the sunlight and will really pop. Definitely leaning gunmetal.

Here’s gunmetal with the sun on them. If you want this look 100% of the time, get matte gray.

 

The opposite actually lol, I’d like them to look like how gunmetal looks in the shade (color matched with mgm).

 

Previous truck and tires, but in the garage shade.

 

Yup, WISH they looked like that in the sun so this would be an easy decision. I just can’t stand 3-tone trucks even if it’s just a little off - my ocd goes nuts. I’m going to go black f5s or maybe ray 10 after I see them in person this Monday when I go pick them up.
