    You didn’t cut 2.5” all the way around though did you? Just the bottoms if I recall from previous post

    I just cut the bottom by the front doors. I haven’t fully cycled the suspension yet. No rubbing with daily driving though. I also installed bigger bump stops to give a little less uptravel.

    Quick question, Ive seen the pinch weld flattened by just hammering it flat and by cutting it and then hammering it back. It seems like more people cut the weld and then hammer it though. Is there a reason more people dont just hammer it back without cutting it?

    I assume it’s to help flatten it but I don’t think there is any reason to cut it. Personally, cutting it just creates more places for rust to form and weakens the overall weld.

    I've had no problem with only hammering. I like to hammer from the inside out, meaning hammering from inside the wheel well toward the outside for clarification.
