In a rush to pass additional "red flag" laws to help reduce gun violence I think some caution should be exercised.

Question: who decides if you have a mental condition which excludes one from gun ownership? Could a conservertive Christian be labeled a religious zealot by some left wing liberal who hates the second amendment? Not saying this will happen but who makes the decision?

Already some are saying if you voted for the current president, you are a racist.

No evidence offered, just painting a large group of citizens with a broad brush.

    Just something to consider.

I have discovered that some people think they have the solution for the problem and don't care whose constitutional rights are trampled. But trample theirs and you are a racist, anti sematic and anti American. And the worst part is "we the people" put most of them in office.
But finger pointing is a prerequisite for holding an office in D.C.

Folks, we are treading into forbidden territory.

We need to move away from politics or it will be locked.

    Evening all:

Come on Ken, this thread is always interesting! :D

Just saw where another nutcase killed 4 people and wounded 2, WITH A KNIFE, there was also another single killing with a knife. :(
I'll just leave it at that, thoughts and prayers to those affected.

Replaced my fog light with the broken lense yesterday, had picked up info here and there, so a 20 to 30 minute job replacing it. Toughest part was pulling the fender liner back after taking five screws out. That and analyzing how the clip holding the ends of the wiring needed to be pried apart. Oil changed, good to go. Motorcycle oil changed, look out!

You got me still morning Ken.

Finished mowing lawn, backyard, did front and sides yesterday.
Finished up packing caribou hunt gear last night/o'dark thirty this AM. Never can sleep with hunt anticipation on my mind.
Time to shower, then pack travel cooler and head over to Randy's.

Looking for a noonish departure. Hunt opens Sunday first useable light.

    :hattip: Cool Old Dudes

    Great weekend to all.

Rambo family Crest. It's a Knights jousting helmet and a decorative sword. Blue= trust and loyalty. Gold= grandness of wisdom, glory, and generosity. The 3 English type mullet stars represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. The blue then gold then blue etc... represents balance of priorities.

The two bit town I grew up in, City Of King.

I realize no one probably gives a fuck but I find it extremely interesting and the set of extremely weird coincidences is just insanely weird.

I'll piece it together, I was born with one name which is "Caballero" (no first, no middle, no last name, just Caballero in quotation marks on the actual birth certificate), Caballero means Knight, my biological father's side is named Rambo, there were Knights of the same Rambo family which is why the Crest exists in the first place, I was raised in the City Of King, and lastly the definition of Rambo is a tough aggressive man which is accurate to a T. There's actually more really weird coincidences but...

    Morning all:
    just couldn't resist!!!
Yesterday I picked up ANOTHER Zebco Cardinal 4 spinning reel and another fishing pole that was advertised on CL. I really like those reels, but there's also a time to stop buying them, I definitely have enough of them!
Also just ordered some smile blades and beads to make up some spinner harnesses for walleye, I have lots of harnesses made up but none using the smile blades.
Going to need a bigger boat soon just to carry the arsenal of lures I use to fish for them in the river.
