    I went through this search last year The only options I found were the stock steel wheels from the SR trucks, 17" FJ steelies and the 16" spares. I went with the spares.

    Basshole I do agree. That's just the look I want and that's why I'm trying to find something close without adding weight to the truck.

    Those fifteen52 wheels look great. The backspace, offset, width is perfect for our tacomas. Just as I think I want to save money buying steel wheels I see these retro style aluminum wheels.. Bah.

    Does anyone know if wheel weights can be hammered on the lips of fifteen52 wheels? This is my dilemma, and one reason I want oem steel wheels. Hammer on weights. Stick on weights are nice, but a bitch to balance large tires, and always losing them when out wheeling. Always an adventure with a shaking steering wheel on the way home lol

    That's exatly what they are. I bought them from some dealers online parts dept, Toyota of Dallas I think, but not 100% certain. I paid $75 each. I was quoted $145 each by the local dealer. More than I wanted to pay for steel wheels, but they are OEM and I don't need to loose sleep over clearances or fitment.

    Those wheels were referred to as "white spoke" wheels back in the 70s and 80s. They were offered in chrome as well.

    I've been looking for FJ steelies for 3 yrs now. Good luck. I'm actually researching Hilux steelies from the UK now which seem to be the same specs as the FJ

    They range from $50 - $117. Doesn't seem too bad. Especially since you're considering importing rims from the UK. What's the shipping on that?? :rolleyes:

    You may get lucky and get centercaps. There appears to be some on ebay as well.

    Hmm, Mine were $94 ea CAD for the dealership. I just ordered the part number and got the FJ ones instead of the Tacoma ones they suggested.

    Steelies don't have a centercap, no biggie. I paint the hubs black and forget about it-
    (These were on my 2nd gen but same same on our 3rd);

    Not sure they look so great with Michelin MS2 street tires.
