    Hi folks!!

Noticed that when I had my tailgate down today that one side was different from the other. Is this normal or am I missing a piece?
    Thanks!

No ... this is designed to let you lift the gate on that side to remove from truck after releasing the cables.

Easy to remove and unfortunately steal.

Put a hose clamp over the passenger side, it will help slow down a thief.

Curious why these are in demand for the POSs that are stealing them?

Easy to steal and cost a small fortune.
