Reading this page I was wondering if we could get a recommended shop page sticked for 209? i.e. Swier Tire in Ripon. maybe include who endorsed them too.

Also in other news we now have access to a strut compressor in our area

This can do coilovers and struts

I think I'm going to build a stand that mounts into a hitch receiver

BAMF did the powder coat. For sure want amber fogs and a 30in light bar, just haven't settled on which ones.

The video that was posted of my drawer has over 80,000 views in five days. The responses have been overwhelmingly awesome. I’m contemplating starting a gear company for kitchen designs, this is a test feeler page that I created. I’d appreciate any feedback you want to give.

    Good luck!

My feedback is focus on the craftsmanship and quality of materials in the marketing. That’s what the “Overland” crowd, ie millennials are attracted to. They will pay for a higher cost item if it’s marketed as environmentally friendly, locally sourced, impeccably designed and packed with features. Also, market to the Jeep crowd. They will be your bread and butter. I liked your video.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Fun times were had this weekend.

No over heating issues. And finally made it up to (and beyond) Bourland Meadows.

    20190802_232623.jpg
Set up in the dark on Friday night. Not because of any problems, just because we got to our spot late.

    20190803_135601.jpg
We were dabating this creek crossing. But knew we would have to make another one to get back on course to Bourland Meadows and didn't know the condition of the other crossing.

Low and Behold @Drtgrl and crew showed up out of the blue and let us know the other crossing was good to go... so hammer down.

    20190803_172407.jpg
Found us a nice secluded spot up past Bourland Meadows for night 2.

    20190804_125409.jpg 20190804_130258.jpg 20190804_141908.jpg
Did some exploring... and boulder rolling... and tree cutting, today. Made it down some roads that looked like it has been over a year since anyone has made it through.

Almost everyone is using ham and getting your license is super easy. Either self study here: https://hamstudy.org/ or find a ham cram here: http://www.arrl.org/find-an-amateur-radio-license-class, which i can't seem to get working right now. The Modesto ham club is actually hosting a ham cram on 8/17: https://www.stanares.org/ham-cram/, I think a couple of 209ers are going as well.
