Had my oil changed and let them change my cabin air filter. After filter change I turned fan up to 3 & 4 and entire cabin shook. Had time to take apart this morning and found item in photo in the fan. Have been searching the web all morning to try and determine what it is and how it got into the fan.
Is it a part of my Tacoma?
    Fan is working fine now!

Depending on how big it is, could be a fan weight. They balance the blower motor fans so they dont vibrate. Usually its a small clip though.
