Steel or Aluminum skid plates

Not mine But the TRD one can take some shit, like i said it all depends on how hard your driving it.

I got an aluminum front skid from Mobtown. It will do for now.

 

I dont drive fast out there, but do light crawling on a lot of ungraded roads to tour remote places and do end up scraping here and there to get through, so I have all steel. Im only running 16inch rims and 31.7’s (lifted just 1.5”), so some of the trails I go on called for it. Maybe in the future I’ll go with larger wheels for better clearance, but for now my setup keeps it safe.
