When I bought my truck last year, they gave me the Platinum Plus Tire & Wheel Protection. As of right now, I'm looking to lift the truck and put some bigger tires on it. Does anyone know if the warranty would still apply to the larger tires? ( I've tried looking it up and only got vague answers)

If you bought the tires through the dealer, potentially, I very highly doubt it will apply though.

I would bet money that anything that wasn't on the truck at the time that coverage was issued will not be covered. It depends on the dealership, but I also wouldn't be surprised if lifting would actually void that coverage as well. There's probably some fine print, written in legalese, that might provide some kind of decipherable answer.

I'm almost certain the protection only applies to what was on the vehicle at that point in time prior to taking it off the lot. Any new modifications typically voids the warranty entirely.

You should double check with your dealership though as warranties vary per dealership.

was stated to us by dealer that if we bought new tires they would be covered as well. as long as there is the right amount of tread
